Where can I find great no-contact kickboxing classes in NYC?

I used to go to great classes in Italy where we had hard-core training with kicks and punches against bags but no real fighting with people. I’ve been to more than 5 gyms but none was satisfying so far: eitehr too mellow or no bags at all. Thanks!

ask around aerobic kickboxing. Health Clubs got plenty of this type of workout !

try any health club and look for an "executive kickboxing" program.

a place like NYSC or balleys or any Y might offer good facilities but they offer the kind of watered down training you are looking for.

truthfully I hope you are doing it for excercise and not for learning to defend yourself and fight because you won’t learn anything in a program like that.

you aren’t learning to fight unless you are training against a live resisting opponent. but for just excercise than I’ve seen most gyms have it.

don’t go to equinox, they are overpriced and just a fasion show. picture saved by the bell kids go to a gym, thats equinox.
