Is it amazing how we are remarkably seeing the rapid increase of Asians in the heavier divisions?

These are boxers from the weight classes that doesnt usually have a huge numerical numbers of Asian boxers since many Asian boxers dominate Lightweight and below historically. However, now, there is a rapid rise of Asian boxers going in the heavier divisions, I have never seen something of this rapid rise ever in boxing history. All of these Asian boxers are officially ranked in their respective division rankings.

Samoans/Fijians/Tongans originally came from S.E Asia so they are of Southeast Asian extraction, similar to Filipinos, Indonesians, Thais, Vietnamese, and Malaysians (Southeast Asia)
Asians have been going up in weight recently and it only proves that many Asian boxers can go up in weight and be good at it. I think the generation has change since, and Asians are given the opportunity to fight at a higher weight class. With the developments of Asia’s economy, it also change the composure of the Asian ethnicity, which the evolving nutrition from a higher supply of foodstuffs made Asian people bigger phsyically than they have ever been before.
The Tongans, Fijians, Samoans, and other Pacific Islanders are of Asian descent. It doesn’t matter what ethnicity they below to but they came from Asia and they are the ones who seem to have been evolving as bigger boxers than Japanese or Filipinos. There is a diversity of ethnicities in Asia, but they are all still categorized as Asians.

Much of this has to do with the standards of living increases in many countries,it also shows that there is an increase in support of boxing in Asia and around the world in general. An increase in support for boxin can only benefit the sport.

Times are changing…I think this just shows us that boxing has become a global sport.. more have taken interest in boxing…plus Asia is a very big continent…technically Yuri Foreman (Middleweight) would be considered Asian too since he’s originally from Israel heck even Vic Darchinyan…I’m expecting more boxers to come out of Asia..not just Asia but the around the world…Boxing is like Olympics..
btw, only the Austronesian people (Filipinos, Indonesians, Malaysians) are related to Samoans and Tongans…Vietnamese and Thais aren’t really genetically related to them only a few of them, the ones with Austronesian ancestry…and Fijians, although they speak an Austronesian language their basic stock is the original Australoid people of the Fiji Islands..they are sorta like the Negritos of P.I….Austronesians are pretty much the same basic stock of people…
