how active do you need to be to take a boxing class?

i dont intend on being in any competitions or anything, just being in the class. i dont like running, i hate it. i also hate push ups and sit ups.
me not liking these things, does that mean i wouldnt survive in a boxing class?

I wasn’t very active when I started..If you join a good gym like I did they will make you active..You have to run period.That’s one thing I can tell you , if you don’t want to run then don’t join a boxing club..

No, you don’t sound like you have what it takes to box. Boxing, even "just for a work out" is much tougher than running and it incorporate push ups and sit ups as part of the fitness training. Please do everybody at the local boxing school a favor and stay home.
