Where in Perth, Australia is there kickboxing or similar lessons?

I’m looking for somewhere near Perth CBD that offers kickboxing, boxing or some sort of fitness class that offers pay as you go classes. Anywhere that has female only classes would be preferable and I have never taken lessons before so I would need adult beginner lessons.
I was looking for something a little more central as I live in the city and don’t drive.

I go to my Fight Club in Osbourne Park, you have MMA such as kickboxing, wrestling, grappling, boxing and so on.

how much do most MMA gyms charge for classes like BJJ and boxing ?

is it pay like so much a month and do all the classes you want or pay for each class
i want to join Nate Marquardt’s gym

This is a question you should ask the owner of the MMA gym you’re interested in. There are a lot of MMA gyms and they all charge differently.

Are kickboxing classes open during winter seasons?

I found a kickboxing class that I really wanted to do but with winter season lasting through december and january I wasn’t really sure if it would be open during that season

Most usually are but you have to ask them, not us. Don’t know where you are, where the class is, who teaches the class etc. Ask them.

What’s the best boxing class for my son?

He wants to be a boxer. He’s only 13, but is very fast with his hands and loves watching boxing.

There are several boxing classes you can find, and there aren’t really particular ones that stick out to me. I would try to get private boxing classes or if you can buy him some equipment for boxing and you at least understand the concept and rules of it you can teach him yourself and motivate him to get better and train him with the equipment…

How much postage to send a boxed dvd from uk to within uk 1st class please?

To save me a trip to the post office to get the dvd weighed does anyone know how much postage stamps I’d need to send a boxed dvd to an address in the uk from an address in the uk.

Thanks

You really do need to take it to the post office, because they don’t just do it on weight now, they also do it on dimensions.

You say a DVD, but some DVD’s have more than one disk in the box (I take it this is a single normal DVD film over a large boxset?)

So weight will vary, plus are you putting it in a jiffy bag or bubble wrap and then brown paper? Are you sending it in another box?? This will affect weight and dimensions of package.

You can check prices and weights on the Royal Mail Website, but if you don’t want to other person to have to pay extra postage costs, I suggest you go to the Post Office!!

Been doing push ups and other weight training for about 2 months now.

For the first time I went to a boxing fitness class thing and now my arms are pretty sore. Are they sore because I’ve been working too hard? or is it just muscle building

Its just muscle building, and using new muscles in different ways then normal. Don’t worry, in a few days you’ll feel better. Just your body getting used to it. :)

How old do you have to be to get into boxing and how?

I want to box but I’m 13 so am I old enough to go to like a boxing gym or are there classes or something?

there’s no starting age buddy. i think Mayweather’s dad started training him since he was like 3-4 years old.

you can go into a boxing gym, and there will be a trainer who will teach you the basics, the techniques, offense, defense, as well as train your conditioning (abs, legs, push ups, pull ups). and then once you’re ready, you can start to spar with guys, try to utilize the techniques you’ve learned.

if you get better, you can start training for amateur fights, start doing roadwork every morning, hard training, maybe some weights (after you’ve hit 16) and then go for ur fights.

you’ll be alright man, just go to a good gym, and talk to the people there.
